Losán Solid Wood, our sawmill in Soria, is celebrating its first 15 months of operation. After starting in March 2017 with one production shift, we increased to two shifts in May and to three in October of the same year.

This success is due to the fact that we have the best technology in the current Iberian market and, therefore, we manufacture a high quality product that is highly appreciated by the major pallet manufacturers in Spain. In addition, we also export wood to countries such as Costa Rica, Peru, Vietnam, Algeria, Malaysia and China. In total, in 2017 we manufactured more than 37,000 m3 of board. Our goal for this year 2018 is to reach 80,000 m3 of timber sold.

Losán Solid Wood employs about 40 people who produce boards and planks of sawn wood in different sizes with pine coming mainly from local forests in Castilla y León, Galicia and the Basque Country. We also generate at least another 100 jobs indirectly, mainly in local logistics companies. Losán supports global thinking and local acting.
